This book is about a young girl Lou who decides to do her school talk on being homeless. Through preparation for this talk she meets a young homeless girl No and they become friends, however when No suddenly disappears, Lou sets out to find her. Both girls learn a lot along the way about family and friendship. Lou helps No rejoin society and No helps Lou to rediscover the importance of friendship.
This book I feel is aimed at young adults, however as a adult I still found this book enjoyable. The book was really well written and I struggled to put it down, this resulted in me finishing it in 4 hours. I found this book refreshing as it wasn’t afraid to deal with real issues and didn’t sugar coat them. I would recommend this book to readers of all ages.
