My Thoughts
I felt that the novel was a bit dragged out in places, I feel this tale could have easily been told in a short-story format rather than a novel. I did lose interest about half way through however I carried on as I do not like to give up on books. I am glad I read till the end however it is not a classic I will be rushing to re-read anytime soon.
I am glad I read it and it is a quick read however I was not really impressed by what I read. The description of the devil is one that is quite tame and I felt this was a let down to me.
Overall it was an interesting read in places but not one I will be rushing to re-read.
I liked this a lot when I read it but it was some time ago. I can’t remember the devil.
Thanks for the review.
